I don’t fit the mould of a typical finance leader—and that’s what sets me apart. I’ve spent decades solving complex challenges across leadership, finance, and operations. My work spans a variety of industries, including manufacturing, trade services, construction, agriculture, eCommerce, retail, and fresh food processing. I’ve led transformations for both large global enterprises and high-growth SMEs, across Australia, New Zealand, and the UK, turning business challenges into growth opportunities.
During the Global Financial Crisis (GFC), I led large-scale transformation efforts, rebuilding core systems that drove both margin and momentum. This experience as a General Manager sharpened a commercial lens that few finance leaders possess—one that sees beyond the numbers to the people, risks, and operations that shape them. Change management, cultural alignment, and strategic execution aren’t afterthoughts—they’re part of the playbook.
Strategic Board Advisor & NED with a Heart for the NFP Sector
In addition to my role as a CFO, I have served for four years as a Board Advisor and Non-Executive Director (NED), bringing financial and operational insight to the Not-For-Profit (NFP) sector. My focus has been on improving governance, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving financial sustainability for mission-driven organizations, especially in the aged care and community services sectors.
I am deeply passionate about the NFP sector and the critical role it plays in supporting vulnerable populations. By leveraging my commercial expertise, I work with boards and leadership teams to create strategies that not only improve operational performance but also ensure that resources are used most effectively to serve those in need.
